General Surgery
In our General Surgery Department, surgical interventions are performed for conditions that cannot be treated with medication or other methods.
Due to the wide range of its areas of interest, our General Surgery Department works in collaboration with many other disciplines. In cooperation with the Oncology and Urology Units in our hospital, we make a difference in the treatment of cancer patients by applying the most up-to-date approaches for rapid diagnosis and treatment—both with preoperative chemo-radiotherapy and postoperative care.
Patients are examined by our specialist doctors, and after listening to their medical history, imaging techniques are used if deemed necessary by the physician. In addition, physical examinations and laboratory tests are performed to establish a diagnosis.
The presence of a well-equipped intensive care unit after surgery provides a significant source of confidence for both the patient and the physician.
