Our Infectious Diseases Department deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, or parasites, which can occur in any part of the body and some of which may be contagious. Thanks to advances in diagnostic methods and the use of new antimicrobial drugs, many infectious diseases can now be accurately diagnosed and treated.
