Nutrition and Dietetics
Nutrition is the process of utilizing food to support growth, sustain life, and maintain health.
In society, nutrition is often seen as a concept to consider only when an illness occurs. However, research shows that improving individual diet and health practices significantly reduces preventable diseases, disabilities, and premature deaths.
Nutritional deficiencies and imbalances can be a direct cause of certain diseases and an indirect contributing factor in many others.
Nutrition and Diet Outpatient Services
At the Adatıp Hospital Nutrition and Diet Outpatient Clinic, each individual’s previous eating habits and lifestyle are carefully evaluated during the initial consultation.
For those seeking nutritional counseling or treatment, a personalized nutrition plan is prepared and regularly monitored based on body weight, body fat mass, body water ratio, age, height, gender, physical activity level, and blood test results.
Additionally, customized nutrition programs are developed, educational guidance is provided, and regular follow-ups are conducted for individuals with special conditions such as diabetes, chronic diseases, pregnancy and lactation, childhood and adolescence, and advanced age.

Metabolic Rate Measurement
During the initial consultation, Metabolic Rate Measurement is performed under specific conditions — after a 4-hour fasting period, with no consumption of cigarettes, coffee, or tea, and no recent exercise or intense physical activity.
Fat–Water–Muscle Analysis
This analysis is conducted at every follow-up session using a four-point measurement device.
Operated with computer-assisted software, the device can be safely used for a wide range of individuals — from children to adults weighing up to 200 kilograms.
