Visitor and Companion Policy

Dear Visitors and Companions,

We are aware that the support and presence of loved ones play an important and positive role in the recovery process of our patients during their stay in the hospital. For the health and comfort of both your patient and yourself, we kindly ask you to pay attention to the following guidelines.

COMPANION RULES

  • For the health and safety of all patients, only one companion is allowed to stay in each room. After 10:00 p.m., only the patient’s designated companion may remain in the room.
  • Our patients follow special diet programs. During your stay, a separate companion menu is available for you.
  • Please do not bring food or beverages from outside into the patient room. If you must bring anything, please inform the patient consultant or the responsible nurse of your department.
  • Patient care in our hospital is provided exclusively by medical staff. We kindly ask that you do not attempt any intervention with the patient.
  • Companions are not permitted in intensive care units. We kindly request that you respect this rule, as well as visiting hours, duration, and procedures, for the benefit of your patient’s recovery.
  • Please avoid speaking loudly or making noise in the rooms and corridors to maintain a peaceful environment for all patients.
  • Please follow all warnings regarding mobile phone usage.
  • When using the television, please keep the volume at a level that does not disturb others.
  • In case of companion changes, please inform the floor nurse.

VISITING RULES

  • Visiting hours in our hospital are between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on both weekdays and weekends. Visiting hours may vary in certain departments; for detailed information, please contact the patient consultant or the responsible nurse of the relevant department.
  • In exceptional cases such as emergency admissions, please contact the supervising nurse for assistance.
  • Children under 10 years old have lower immunity; therefore, for their own health, we recommend not bringing them for visits.
  • Visits to pediatric patients by their friends are limited to 15 minutes and must be carried out under adult supervision.
  • Our patients follow special diet programs; therefore, bringing food or drinks from outside into rooms is not permitted.
  • Due to infection risk, live flowers are not allowed in patient rooms. Please give your flower to the assigned staff in exchange for a “flower card,” so it can be delivered to the patient after discharge.
  • After surgery or a medical procedure, the doctor will visit the room to provide information. Please wait in the patient’s room during the operation.
  • After surgery, for the patient’s well-being, no more than two visitors should be in the room at the same time.
  • For hygiene reasons, please do not sit on patient beds during your visit.
  • Hand hygiene is extremely important for both you and your patient. Please use the hand sanitizers provided in patient rooms before and after your visit.
  • Please limit each visit to 10 minutes.
  • While in the hospital, please avoid any behavior that may disturb other patients.
  • Lastly, please pay attention to the mobile phone usage guidelines during your visit.
