As Private Adatıp Hospital, we consider protecting the health and safety of our employees, providing a safe working environment, and minimizing risks that may threaten employee safety among our fundamental priorities.
We believe that the safe and effective delivery of healthcare services is only possible in a working environment where our employees feel secure and are protected from occupational risks. Accordingly, we aim to identify employee safety risks, implement necessary preventive measures, and promote a culture of safety throughout our institution.
In line with these principles, we commit to the following:
1. We comply with all applicable legislation, legal regulations, and relevant standards concerning employee safety.
2. We identify and assess risks that may threaten employee safety and implement necessary measures to eliminate these risks or reduce them to acceptable levels.
3. We carry out activities to control physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial risks to which our employees may be exposed.
4. We implement necessary precautions to prevent needlestick and sharps injuries, exposure to blood and bodily fluids, and other occupational exposures. We ensure that any incidents are reported, assessed, and followed up appropriately.
5. We ensure that our employees have access to personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to their duties and promote its correct and effective use.
6. We support the implementation of occupational health surveillance and necessary periodic health examinations for our employees and carry out appropriate preventive healthcare practices based on occupational risks.
7. We promote compliance with infection prevention and control measures to protect our employees from infection risks and provide the necessary training and preventive practices.
8. We implement necessary measures to protect our employees against violence, threats, and security risks arising from patients, patients’ relatives, or other individuals, and manage the reporting and assessment processes for such incidents.
9. We monitor the suitability of working environments and equipment in terms of employee safety through workplace inspections and risk assessments.
10. We promote the reporting and documentation of occupational accidents, injuries, occupational exposures, near-miss incidents, and other employee safety events. We assess the underlying causes of these incidents and implement measures to prevent their recurrence.

12. We carry out the necessary planning, training, and emergency drills to ensure employee safety in the event of fires, earthquakes, evacuations, and other emergencies.
13. We value the opinions, suggestions, and reports of our employees and encourage their active participation in employee safety processes.
14. We evaluate the results of inspections, risk assessments, incident reports, and monitoring activities conducted within the scope of employee safety and implement necessary improvement measures to address identified nonconformities.
15. We recognize that ensuring employee safety is not solely the responsibility of a specific department but a shared responsibility of the entire institution, particularly its managers and employees.
16. We review and update our Employee Safety Policy at least once a year and whenever necessary, taking into account changes in legislation, risks, working conditions, or institutional processes.
